Grains are good and while the rise time was more, it is worth it. Nice nutty flavor with all those grains. The oatmeal stuck to the top of the bread. Great size for a bed night snack.

My only addition was to spray the dough with canola oil on top of the loaf in the pan for the second rise, and then before going into bake, spritzed with water and a little melted butter on top of that. Brown's nicely.

I used butter to grease the pans and because they are old i cut a piece of parchment paper for the Bottom of each pan.

They baked 25-30' at 375 degrees.

Will try the single loaf with a 9" pan.Diannerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04221407978471057280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049007280607840779.post-72780912501408952372018-02-06T10:40:08.298-06:002018-02-06T10:40:08.298-06:00Hi

You get about 8 cups for a 9" load pans so that double is 16 cups.
Smaller loaves but guessing just as yummy. Will let you know how it turns out. Also used 12grain hot cereal.😌Diannerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04221407978471057280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049007280607840779.post-9468306038716496552013-01-06T12:31:03.148-06:002013-01-06T12:31:03.148-06:00Mitzi,

Made this bread today & we have already polished off one of the loaves. My husband & son have informed me that I must now make this on a regular basis. I love to make things from scratch & love even more that I will no longer need to purchase loaves of bread, the prices these days are so high for good bread. Your instructions were so easy to follow (especially for my first time making bread). Thank you so much!
